I Swear, No Car Shows Next Weekend

This past weekend was a great weekend for car shows.  We spent both Saturday and Sunday (and Wednesday night) checking out great cars at a couple of pretty cool venues.  This did not leave much time to work on the Barracuda but I needed the inspiration.
Wednesday, July 13, 2011 – Top Dead Center Motor Club Cruise Night at the Thorndale VFW
TDC Motor Club is a local Chester County, PA club.  They usually have very good group turn out at local shows.  I thought I would check out their Cruise Night.  A nice selection of cars was in attendance.  The good news is that I finally ran into fellow EVBCer Steve and his way cool 1966 Barracuda.  The bad news is that I swallowed a bug.

Saturday, July 16, 2011 – National Chrysler Products Club at Peddler’s Village
I had never heard of this National Chrysler Products Club nor had I ever been to Peddler’s Village.  The shopping enticed my wife and daughter to tag-along.  I looked at cars while they shopped.  This was a judged show which brought out a field of outstanding Mopars of all years.

Sunday, July 17, 2011 – Delco Cruisers Downtown Media Car Show
This was another big show sponsored by a local car club.  Several streets in Media, PA were cordoned off.  Cars lined both sides of all the streets in the show area.  A live band was set up on one street, as well as, several DJs at other locations. All the local restaurants were open for business.  The Delco Cruisers really had it organized.  It was a real block party.
